Food Pantry

Bethel Home and Services has provided the building at 341 Black River Avenue in Westby for the Bethel Butikk Food Pantry and Thrift Shop for over ten years  Bethel Butikk is a volunteer-operated program serving Vernon County and surrounding communities. A community garden also operates during the summer months.

The Food Pantry at Bethel Butikk is open Monday 10-4pm, Tuesday 10-6pm, and Wednesday through Friday 10-2 p.m., The first Saturday morning of the month open 9-12 noon.

Thrift Shop

Located in the same building as the Bethel Butikk Food Pantry, the Thrift Shop is open to all members of the public. Offering clothing, housewares, decor, books, furniture, antiques, and more at great discounts.

Volunteers at Bethel Butikk accept donations of gently used items to be resold to help fund the food pantry and other initiatives that impact the community. 

Mission Committee

Pastor Pete Beckstrand, Curt Moe, Pastor Trever Skrede, and Kyle Bakkum meet weekly as a mission committee to distribute funds to families for help with rent, utilities, heat, transportation and medical emergencies. The funds come from donations and proceeds of the thrift shop.
