What is Helping Hands?
Helping Hands Personal &
Supportive Home Services provides safe, compassionate, quality care
for clients that allow them to maintain independence in their own
environment.
Who can benefit?
Primarily our clients are
frail or disabled individuals, but our services are available to
anyone in Vernon County and surrounding areas. We are
available to meet your needs, while you enjoy your independent
lifestyle.
Supportive Home
Services
Supportive Home Services are
homemaker/household centered with nurse or professional staff
consultation available at your request for a separate fee.
Services may include:
- Homemaking-chore services
- Supervision by trained
and caring staff
- Health care consultation
available by a Registered Nurse
- Transportation
- Companionship
- Assistance with grocery
shopping
- Assistance in identifying
additional community resources that could benefit the individual
Personal Home Care
Personal Home Care are
"hands on tasks" provided under the supervision of a Registered
Nurse. All services require a Physicians order.
Services may include:
- Care management provided
by professional staff
- Initial assessment and
ongoing regular visits and monitoring by Registered Nurse
- Assistance with personal
needs - bathing, hair care, hygiene
- Assistance with
activities of daily living and medically oriented tasks
- Meal preparation
- Transportation to
medical/dental appointments
Examples of the clients
we serve:
- The frail elderly person
returning home from a hospital stay. Providers help with
grocery shopping, meal preparation, bathing and general
supervision.
- A young disabled child or
adult who has difficulties handling the tasks of daily living.
This individual may need a little extra help to live as
independently as possible.
